week six

I can make a few conclusions about the Frat community. Students not in a frat, and parents think that the only thing frats are for are to drink and haze. Although, frats can throw pretty big parties, there a lot of good things about them. Just in observation of walking from class to class with one of my friends who is in the frat, I noticed that he knew about 10 times more people then I did. I would ask him how he knew that person, and the response was usually frat. So as a freshman it’s a great way to meet a lot of new people. Also, they are part of many school organizations, and demand a high gpa from all the members. I think the stereotype for frats is the same for all campuses. How each frat handles themselves varies but really everything is the same.
